Dear Richard,

A note to thank you for your empathy and personal involvement in securing and delivering an adjustable bed to my parents’ home in Savannah, Georgia.  By way of background, I flew down to Savannah from my home in Connecticut upon my mother’s hospitalization due to complications resulting from pancreatic cancer.  I realized upon arrival that there was no way her increasing care and physical needs upon her discharge from the hospital could be met at home in the beautiful antique four-poster which my parents had shared for sixty years.

SO, at about 1am eastern time, I got on the internet with my sister Joanne, checked out mattress companies, and put in a call to your company which you personally answered.  This led to a dialogue of more than an hour during which you shared related personal experiences, relieved our worries with much-appreciated laughs, displayed ‘beyond-the-call’ empathy, and, despite a heavy schedule, promised to get a bed delivered to Savannah as soon as possible.   

You called the next day to confirm that you had located a bed which could be delivered in the next five or so days.  You personally answered further calls related to required bedding, measurements, etc., and you could not possibly have been more kind, concerned and thoughtful.  We phoned you numerous times at odd hours with questions and you were reachable – and cheerful – each time we called.  

The bed was delivered as promised, and assembled by a fantastic and good-natured crew. Once our mother came home from the hospital, the bed proved to be extremely comfortable and therapeutic. In addition, our father recently suffered a stroke, and your bed has allowed him to remain close to her while providing the comfort and support he now requires.

 Richard, thank you again for your concern and quick response; my husband, Dr. Carl Sherter (Director of Pulmonary/Intensive Care at Waterbury/Yale- New Haven Hospital, and a full professor of medicine at Yale University Medical School), was also very impressed with how efficiently your company handled our situation.  (Richard, go ahead and ‘google’ him- he’s a Big Gun!)
